Been reading a tad on F/W conversion of electric heads. A little knowledge being a dangerous thing… here goes:
I very much understand the potential to cross contaminate the potable water system. That sounds awful and I don’t love the idea.
Curious if anyone has added a separate tank for head water? I’ve got space and it seems like a solid way to maintain separation.
That said a whole other system to install and maintain is a questionable idea… but throwing in a bit more PEX and some T...
